Installation Promise
We
will
not
sell
units
that
are
not
appropriate
for
your
homes
size,
if
asked
to
do
so,
We
will
refuse
the
job.
CVM
has
the
reputation
of
quality
and
service
and
it
will
be
maintained.
The
goal
of
our
installation
is
to
lay
out
the
most
straight,
most
direct
route
of
tubing
and
to
assure
you,
our
client,
the
most
efficient
built-in
central
vacuum
cleaning
system
possible.
While
placing
the
inlet
valves
in
the
most
convenient,
inconspicuous
and
easy
to
use
locations.
CVM
will
not
interfere
with
or
comprise
the
integrity
of
the
structure
in
which
it
is
installed.
CVM
will
use
only
the
highest
quality
virgin
PVC
tubing
(no
"regrinds"
which
will
cause
rough
interior
finishes).
All
cuts
will
to
be
made
with
a
thin
wall
tubing
cutter
for
straight
clean
cuts
leaving
no
gaps
between
pipe
and
joint
fittings.
All
pipe
will
be
de-burred,
thus
assuring
proper
gluing
and
seating
of
pipe.
Never
will
CVM
use
a
hacksaw
unless
forced
to
do
so.
(A
hacksaw
will
cause
burrs
on
the
inside
of
the
pipe).
CVM
will
use
only
quality
fittings
which
are
produced
in
polished
stainless
steel
molds
and
are
25%
heavier
than
other
fittings.
All
fittings
will
have
3/4"
cuff
not
1/2".
I
will
only
install
(short)
90
degree
elbows
at
the
inlet
valve
connections
and
will
make
offset
jogs
with
two
45degree
elbows
not
two
90
degree
elbows.
I
will
never
install
dropout
tees
(where
the
sweep
part
of
the
tee
goes
directly
on
top
of
another
inlet
valve
run)
because
debris
can
fall
down
to
the
unused
inlet.
CVM
will
only
install
20
gauge
wire
for
the
low-voltage
wiring.
Others
use
telephone
wire
which
is
a
much
smaller
gauge.
Wire
will
be
secured
to
the
pipe
every
10'
minimum
and
at
most
elbows
with
plastic
tie
wraps
to
insure
a
neat
and
safe
installation.
